Southwick Associates now has the expertise and
experience on tap to engage in international environment and natural
resources-related projects. Dr.
Patricia Foster-Turley has joined
us, and brings to Southwick Associates her extensive experience
and skills in international project design, evaluation, and management.
During the past two decades, Dr. Foster-Turley's work in more than
25 countries has focused on sustainable use and conservation of
wildlife and natural resources, and community involvement in these
efforts.
In addition, Rob Southwick has conducted work in Canda and Mexico
to explain the economic importance of fish & wildlife, local
and national economics.
One significant project quantified the returns from
billfish angling to the Mexican economy. Conducted for the Billfish
Foundation, including the first
ever development of an input-output model for the stae of Baja
California Sur. |

- Scoping conservation and sustainable agriculture
connections in Calabar, Nigeria for a project proposal
- Leading a design team for a multimillion dollar
environmental project for USAID/Egypt
- Leading a team assessing the biodiversity of
Uganda
