This report assesses the U.S. economic impacts of marine commercial and marine recreational fisheries. In addition, the sources of seafood for U.S. consumption and the relevance of aquaculture are discussed. The purpose of this report is to help readers understand the relative economic returns from recreational and commercial fisheries.
