As an extension of the 2009 Lapsed Angler Direct Mail Marketing Program, the Recreational Boating & Fishing Foundation (RBFF) partnered with 14 state fish and wildlife agencies to implement a direct mail pilot program targeting lapsed anglers who had moved from one participating state to another. The goal of the pilot program was to increase fishing license sales by encouraging lapsed anglers to purchase a license to fish in their new state of residence.
This report details the gross license sales revenue, lift, cost, and more resulting from the pilot program.
