To help explain the importance of the gamebird industry, the North American Gamebird Association (NAGA) worked with experts to quantify the industry’s size and economic contributions. In 2025, a cross-section of the gamebird industry responded to a survey that documented their annual expenditures and operational characteristics. The results were extrapolated across the estimated 1,200 gamebird producers and hunting preserves active in the United States. Economic models were then used to quantify the jobs, tax revenues, and other contributions made by the industry to the benefit of all Americans. This report summarizes the top findings.
