Quantifying the R3 “Ripple Effect”

The “ripple effect” of R3 can be defined and measured as changes beyond the individual participant, including how those individuals shape the thinking and actions of others. This research demonstrates that an understanding of the hunting ripple effect can help R3 practitioners measure the full impact of their programs and prioritize their efforts to maximize program reach. Findings from this research effort, and associated management recommendations for R3 practitioners, are detailed in the attached report. This Project was funded by a Multistate Conservation Grant (# F24AP00238), from the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service and jointly administered with the Association of Fish and Wildlife Agencies.
