SCDNR: Agency and Brand Awareness and Perceptions

In the spring of 2021, the South Carolina SCDNR of Natural Resources (SCDNR) surveyed nearly 3,000 anglers, hunters, and boaters (‘core users’) plus the general public without any recent interaction with the SCDNR (‘non‐users’) to gain a better understanding of residents’ awareness, perceptions, and opinions of the agency. Applying these insights can lead to increased effectiveness of and greater returns from investments in branding and promotional efforts, plus identify ways to improve public service.
